The Jensen Interceptor MK3 has now returned from the paint shop!

The owner chose a gorgeous, classic blue for this car. It has a wonderful sheen and blue never goes out of style for Jensen Interceptor cars. Classic car repainting is always one of the most exciting parts of classic car customisations for classic car owners.

You can find out more about what’s involved in preparing a classic car for repainting on our blog.

As you can see from our photos, we’re now in the rebuilding phase of the project! This is one of the most important parts of any classic car restoration project. Once this stage is finished, the car will actually be able to hit the road!

The rebuilding phase includes refitting the rebuilt engine, gearbox, steering, braking, electric and interior elements of the car. As you can see, that’s a lot of new components to fit! We have a few ways we deal with new components.

Classic car component rebuilds involve rebuilding the original components of your classic car. If components in your car can’t be rebuilt, we can either source existing components or our specialists can offer classic car fabrication. This involves building classic car parts from scratch. With improving technology and our team’s specialist knowledge, you’ll struggle to know the difference between a classic car part and a fabricated component.

Find out more about what classic car fabrication involves on our blog, which is filled with useful information.
